The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 8, getting a general score of 77.5 against 77.4. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 design is newer and just a little bit thinner than Huawei Mate 8's, but it's somewhat heavier. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and/or video in low-light environments and a much worse resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Huawei Mate 8 has as much memory for applications and games as Xiaomi Mi Max 2, they have exactly the same internal storage and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 33% greater battery size.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, which makes it a no doubt choice.
