Comparison review
The Huawei Mate Xs has a general score of 91.6, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's overall score of 77.5. Huawei Mate Xs's body is notably newer, but a lot thicker and much heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The Huawei Mate Xs has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate Xs also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate Xs features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite better display pixels density, a bigger screen and a much higher 2200 x 2480 resolution. Huawei Mate Xs takes much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate Xs also has a lot better 40 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a larger aperture to take better photos and videos in poorly lited situations and a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality pictures and videos.
The Huawei Mate Xs counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with greater battery lifetime than Huawei Mate Xs, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
