Comparison review
Huawei nova 5T is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a general score of 80.8 against 77.5. Huawei nova 5T's construction is newer and lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, although it's a bit thicker. The Huawei nova 5T has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei nova 5T also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei nova 5T has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a bit greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a lot bigger storage to store more games and applications than Huawei nova 5T, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better battery duration than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 5300mAh battery size against 3750mAh. Huawei nova 5T captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei nova 5T also has a much more megapixels back camera, a bigger aperture for better low light photography and video and a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Although Huawei nova 5T is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei nova 5T, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, resigning some specifications.
