Huawei Nova 9 has a global score of 81, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's overall score of 77.5. Even though Huawei Nova 9 is a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's lighter and also a lot newer. The Huawei Nova 9 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Nova 9 also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei Nova 9 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a little bigger screen and a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has superior battery life than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 4300mAh. The Huawei Nova 9 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a bigger aperture and a lot more megapixels back camera.
