The Huawei P30 has a global score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's overall score of 77.5. Huawei P30 is a incredibly lighter phone than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but both are equally thin. The Huawei P30 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit higher pixel amount in each inch in the display.
The Huawei P30 has a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P30 also has more RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P30, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Huawei P30, because it has a 5300mAh battery size instead of 3650mAh. Huawei P30 counts with a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Huawei P30 also has a way higher 40 mega pixels resolution back camera, a larger camera aperture to take better images and video in poorly lited situations and a lot bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
