Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a global score of 88.2 against 77.5. Huawei P40 Pro's body is noticeably newer and just a little lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, but it's somewhat thicker. The Huawei P40 Pro has just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a greater screen density and a better 1200 x 2640 resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has better battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro takes greater photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and video, better 60 fps video frame rates, a camera with way more mega pixels and a way bigger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos.
