The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has an overall score of 77.5, which is a little bit better than LG Q8's overall score of 77.2. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 design is a bit thinner but incredibly heavier than the LG Q8, and they were only released with a couple months difference. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a bit faster CPU than LG Q8, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a greater number of cores.
The LG Q8 features a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of display. The LG Q8 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG Q8 also has a bigger aperture, a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photos and a back camera with a lot higher 16 mega-pixels resolution.
LG Q8 has just a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a superior battery life than LG Q8, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
