Comparison review
LG Velvet is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting an 87.1 score against 77.5. The LG Velvet is a notably newer and lighter cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's also just a little bit thicker. LG Velvet features a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, a little bigger display and a quite better pixel count per inch in the display.
The LG Velvet has a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet counts with a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG Velvet also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with greater battery lifetime than LG Velvet, because it has a 23% bigger battery size. The LG Velvet shoots much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the LG Velvet also has a way larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a much higher resolution camera and a larger aperture for better low light captures and video.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, LG Velvet is also the cheapest one, making it a simple decision.
