Comparison review

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a score of 77.5, which is a bit better than the Moto G Power's 76.1 overall score. Despite of the fact Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is older and just a bit heavier than the Moto G Power, it's construction is still noticeably thinner. The Moto G Power and Xiaomi Mi Max 2 both feature incredibly similar CPUs, they have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM.

Motorola Moto G Power has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Motorola Moto G Power also has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2300 and a just a bit higher count of pixels in each screen inch. Motorola Moto G Power shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Moto G Power also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor, a camera with way more megapixels and a much larger aperture to capture better low light images.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a bit more storage for games and applications than Moto G Power, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports 384 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a little longer battery life than Moto G Power, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G Power. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Motorola Moto G Power, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
