Comparison review
Galaxy A40 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's global score of 77.5. Although the Galaxy A40 is just a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's incredibly lighter and newer. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a little better performance than Galaxy A40. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Galaxy A40 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a better quantity of pixels per display inch. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A40, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows 384 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega-pixels, a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video and a smaller sensor capturing less light and dull colors, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video definition.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a way better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.
