Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), having a general score of 77.5 against 75.8. Although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) were released with only a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi Max 2's design is a lot heavier but a little thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017).
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) also counts with a just a little higher pixel density.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a way bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a 77 percent larger battery size.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a back camera with way less mega-pixels resolution and a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
