Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a global score of 87.5 against 77.5. The Samsung Galaxy A71 body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's somewhat lighter. The Samsung Galaxy A71 has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy A71 has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite better pixel density, a bit larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A71, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh. The Galaxy A71 features a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, the Galaxy A71 also has a lot more mega pixels camera, a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography and videos and a lot bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy A71 costs more than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
