The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the Galaxy Alpha, having a global score of 77.5 against 76.3. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a somewhat thicker and heavier phone than the Galaxy Alpha. The Galaxy Alpha features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720px, a just a little inferior pixels number per display inch and a much smaller display.
Galaxy Alpha counts with just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has 4 less cpu cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB and 128 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 takes slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both of them have a same size diafragm aperture, the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same resolution back camera. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity.
