Comparison review

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the Galaxy M53 5G, having a score of 77.5 against 76.7. Although it's the best we compare here, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 design is noticeably older, a little bit thicker and heavier than the Galaxy M53 5G. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy M53 5G, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M53 5G, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, a just a little worse display density and a bit smaller display. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much greater memory for applications and games than Galaxy M53 5G, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB.

Galaxy M53 5G features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a much smaller sensor capturing much lower quality photos and videos, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better images and videos in low-light situations and a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution.
