Galaxy Note7 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a 79.5 score against 77.5. The Galaxy Note7 design is lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it is a little thicker and was released about 10 months before. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a little faster CPU than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a larger number of cores (but slower).
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 features a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because it has a 51% larger battery size. Samsung Galaxy Note7's camera is very similar to the camera in Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note7 has a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a much larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a back facing camera with a 12 MP resolution and the same (4K) video resolution.
