Comparison review
Galaxy S5 has a score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's global score of 77.5. Galaxy S5 is a way older and just a little bit thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but Samsung was able to build it much lighter anyway. Galaxy S5 has a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a lot greater pixel quantity per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same video frame rates and a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a camera with way more mega-pixels and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 5300mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, resigning some features and specifications.
