Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 Active, getting a 77.5 score against 75.8. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a newer and thinner phone than the Galaxy S7 Active, although it's somewhat heavier. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 4 more CPU cores.
Galaxy S7 Active has a much sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a lot higher display density. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a much tinier camera aperture, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same video resolution and a 12 mega pixels back camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Max 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, giving up some specs and features.
