Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is way better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a general score of 94.6 against 77.5. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is incredibly newer and a bit thinner, but also way heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a larger screen, a just a bit more pixels per display inch and a better resolution of 1768 x 2208.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with just a bit more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 5300mAh battery size. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a 12 mega pixels back facing camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has faster 60 fps video frame rates, a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, resigning a couple specifications.
