Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a 77.7 score against 77.5. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a somewhat lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but they are equally thin. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and a little better pixels number per screen inch.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3350mAh. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite takes a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video quality and a 12 mega-pixels camera, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a bigger sensor.
