Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, with a global score of 77.5 against 76.2. Even though Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Xiaomi Mi MIX were only released 7 months apart, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 design is a little bit thinner but just a little heavier. Xiaomi Mi MIX features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also has a bit greater screen density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a very superior memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a higher number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi MIX captures slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega pixels and a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light environments.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with greater battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a 20 percent more battery size.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also a bargain compared to others.
