Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a global score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 score. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a somewhat lighter phone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but both have the same thickness. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a little bit more pixels per screen inch.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 56 percent bigger battery size. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 have similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a larger camera aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited environments, they both have a 12 MP camera in the back, the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size sensor.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, letting go a couple specs and features.
