Xiaomi Poco M3's construction is a lot newer and a bit lighter, but also a lot thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Xiaomi Poco M3 features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite larger screen, a just a bit greater pixel density and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a little bit more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has an external SD slot that admits 384 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory. The Xiaomi Poco M3's CPU is just as good as Xiaomi Mi Max 2's processing unit, both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a lot larger sensor providing a much better image quality, a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels and a bigger camera aperture.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has just a little better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 5300mAh.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Xiaomi Poco M3 is also by far the cheapest one, making this phone a great choice.
