Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, getting a general score of 77.1 against 74.9. The Asus ROG Phone design is a little bit thicker but just a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and they were only released with a couple of months difference. The Asus ROG Phone has a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2160, the Asus ROG Phone also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Asus ROG Phone counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos and worse video frame rate, they both have the same video resolution and a 0.39 inches sensor.
The Asus ROG Phone counts with a superior memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a superior battery duration than Asus ROG Phone, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
