Comparison review
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, getting a general score of 77.4 against 74.9. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s construction is a little thicker but lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and both of them were released with only 5 months difference. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version, so it provides you some nice extra features.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a little bit more pixels per inch of display. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a little longer battery life than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 5000mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs or videos in low-light situations, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
