Comparison review
HTC One M9 has a global score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's overall score of 74.9. These phones include Android OS, but the HTC One M9 has the previous 5.0 version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The HTC One M9 is a much older and somewhat thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but HTC was able to make it notably lighter anyway.
HTC One M9 features a greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and a graphics co-processor. The HTC One M9 features a much better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a much smaller display and a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a better pixels count per inch in the display.
HTC One M9 captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the HTC One M9 also counts with a bigger sensor and a much higher resolution camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a much better battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 94 percent larger battery size.
