Comparison review
Huawei nova 3 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, getting a score of 76.3 against 74.9. Even though Huawei nova 3 and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 were released with only a few months difference, Huawei nova 3 is a little bit thinner and incredibly lighter. Both phones we compare here use the same Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei nova 3 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei nova 3 features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch and a quite better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
Huawei nova 3 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei nova 3 also has a larger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video and a much better 16 MP resolution back-facing camera.
Huawei nova 3 features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB, the Huawei nova 3 also has 64 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 47 percent greater battery capacity.
