Comparison review
The Huawei P30 Lite has a score of 77, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's 74.9 general score. Huawei P30 Lite is a just a little bit thinner and lighter cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, even when both were released only 9 months apart. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P30 Lite has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo, so it gives you some nice extra features and performance enhancements.
Huawei P30 Lite features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU. The Huawei P30 Lite has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2312 and a just a little greater pixels amount per screen inch.
Huawei P30 Lite counts with a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a way lower resolution camera in the back, a much tinier sensor which provides a way lower image and video quality and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a way better battery lifetime than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
