The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's 74.9 global score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Huawei P40 has 10 version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Huawei P40 construction is newer and much lighter, but also a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 3.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a slightly better memory for games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei P40 features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a much better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity. Huawei P40 shoots much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also has a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
