Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, with a 79.5 score against 74.9. The Huawei P40 Lite body is newer and lighter, but just a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 Lite has older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little greater display pixel density and a little bit higher 1080 x 2310 resolution. The Huawei P40 Lite has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a bit bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with better battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
Huawei P40 Lite features a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a camera with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in low-light environments.
