LG G5 has a general score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's overall score of 74.9. The LG G5 is an notably older cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but LG managed to build it a bit thinner and a lot lighter anyway. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the LG G5 has the previous 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
LG G5 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a way better amount of pixels per display inch. LG G5 has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although it has 4 lesser cores , they both have a 4 GB RAM.
LG G5 takes slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a smaller camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG G5 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a bigger aperture for better images in low light situations.
The LG G5 has more memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a really longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
