The LG V40 ThinQ is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, getting an 81.2 score against 74.9. LG V40 ThinQ is a much lighter and just a little bit thinner device than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, even when both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but LG V40 ThinQ has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo.

LG V40 ThinQ features a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has more RAM memory. LG V40 ThinQ counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a lot greater pixel density.

The LG V40 ThinQ takes slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a smaller camera sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have a same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG V40 ThinQ also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low light environments.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a much better battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
