Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 UW is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, with a 75.9 score against 74.9. These devices use Android OS, but the OnePlus 8 UW has 10 version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The OnePlus 8 UW body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but it is lighter. OnePlus 8 UW has a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a just a little higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The OnePlus 8 UW has a way better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a camera with a much better resolution, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos and video, faster 60 frames per second video frame rate and a way bigger sensor providing a much better image quality.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has longer battery life than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
