Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, having a 76.1 score against 74.9. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has the previous 7.0 Nougat version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is an older and a little bit thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but Samsung managed to make it lighter anyway.
The Galaxy J7 Max counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 also has more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Both of them have 8 cores and 4 GB of RAM. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 67 percent larger battery size. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light photos and video and a worse 12 megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
