Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's 74.9 score. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 design is somewhat lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although it's a bit thicker and was released about 10 months before. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a higher screen density.
Galaxy Note8 has as much memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, both have equal internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same resolution camera in the back, a 0.39 inches sensor and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger aperture to capture better images in poorly lited environments.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a very superior battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
