Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's score of 74.9. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S5 has the older 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Although the Samsung Galaxy S5 is noticeably older and just a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, it's body is still extremely lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with an incredibly better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a much higher count of pixels per screen inch. Galaxy S5 counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory and 4 less CPU cores , it also counts with a GPU.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Galaxy S5 features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and a tinier back camera sensor, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a much higher 16 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a very superior battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
