Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, having an 81.9 score against 74.9. Galaxy S8 Active's design is just a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but it's extremely thicker and was released only 11 months before. Galaxy S8 Active has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and much more pixels per inch of display.
The Galaxy S8 Active counts with as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 one, both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy S8 Active features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 5500mAh battery size. The Galaxy S8 Active shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a 0.39 inches sensor, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a bigger aperture to capture better low light photos and video.
