Comparison review
Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, getting a 78.1 score against 74.9. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. Galaxy XCover 5 is a newer and notably lighter phone than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but it's also somewhat thicker.
The Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot bigger display, a way better resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a little bit higher screen pixel density.
The Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a much longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has an 83 percent bigger battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier aperture and a much lower resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot higher (4K) video definition.
