The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, getting an 80.1 score against 74.9. Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a newer cellphone than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although it's way thicker and heavier. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has the previous 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a much higher pixels density. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. They have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with greater battery duration than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking pictures and/or video in low light situations, and they both have a 0.39 inches back camera sensor and a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
