Xperia 10 III has a score of 83.7, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's 74.9 overall score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 10 III has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Xperia 10 III body is newer and way lighter, but also a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Xperia 10 III has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 10 III also has more RAM. The Sony Xperia 10 III features a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520px.
The Sony Xperia 10 III features a much bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because it has more internal memory and an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 10 III and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 both feature really similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 10 III has a tinier back camera sensor capturing worse quality photographs, and they both have a 12 mega pixels back camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low light images and video.
