Xperia XZs has a global score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's general score of 74.9. Xperia XZs's construction is notably lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but it's a bit thicker and was released about a year before. Sony Xperia XZs features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel amount per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZs, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 also has 64 GB internal memory. Sony Xperia XZs features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), they both have 4 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a much longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 90 percent larger battery size. The Xperia XZs takes a lot better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZs also counts with a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a way higher 19 megapixels resolution back facing camera and better 960 frames per second video frame rates.
