Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 has a general score of 77.6, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's overall score of 74.9. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 has the previous 5.1 version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Despite of the fact that Xperia Z5 is notably older than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, it's construction is just a bit thinner and a lot lighter.
Xperia Z5 features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a way smaller screen and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen. The Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a GPU.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a SD card slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Xperia Z5 counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger camera aperture to take better low light images and video, a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a lot better resolution back camera.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a much better battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
