Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a global score of 77.5, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's general score of 74.9. Although the Xiaomi Mi Max is notably older than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, it's body is just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner. Xiaomi Mi Max and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 have very similar CPUs, both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU.
Xiaomi Mi Max has a screen that's just as good as the display in Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although the Xiaomi Mi Max has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, a just a little lower display density and a bit smaller screen. The Xiaomi Mi Max has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has 128 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max's camera is very similar to Xiaomi Mi Max 3's camera, because although the Xiaomi Mi Max has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a much better 16 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
