Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, having a 77.5 score against 74.9. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's design is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although it was released around a year before. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and Xiaomi Mi Max 2 feature really similar displays, although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a little bit worse screen pixel density, a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little bit smaller display. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 5300mAh. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same video definition and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low light environments and a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
