Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, having a global score of 76.2 against 74.9. The Xiaomi Mi MIX construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but it's a little bit lighter. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi MIX has the previous 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2040 pixels resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher display density. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with just a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although it has 4 less cpu cores , they both have a 4 GB RAM. Xiaomi Mi MIX shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a tinier sensor and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a much better 16 megapixels resolution back camera.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with greater battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.
