Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a general score of 88.9, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's 74.9 score. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha construction is newer, but notably thicker and just a little heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because it has a little bit larger display, a lot better 2088 x 2250px resolution and a little more pixels per screen inch.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a much larger back camera sensor which offers a way better image and video quality, a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and video.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a very superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has a 36% larger battery capacity.
