Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, getting a overall score of 79.8 against 74.9. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold construction is notably newer and a little bit thinner, but also notably heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, although it has 8 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold counts with a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because it has a better 1860 x 2480 resolution, a just a bit greater screen pixels density and a larger display.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because it has a much more megapixels back camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photography. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features just a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, because it has a 10 percent greater battery capacity.
