Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, with a 77.2 score against 74.9. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's construction is somewhat lighter but just a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and they were only released 4 months apart. Both of these phones come with the same Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a little more pixels per display inch. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 takes a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have a 12 MP resolution back-facing camera, a same size camera sensor and the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 also has a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a way better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
