The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's general score of 74.9. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 construction is a little bit thicker but lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and they were only released 6 months apart. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. They have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little better pixels density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has faster video frame rates, a larger aperture for better low light captures, a way larger camera sensor which gives a much better photo and video quality and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a much greater storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a way better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
