Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a global score of 76.6, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's global score of 74.9. Both phones we are comparing here use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, it's somewhat lighter and newer.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher screen pixels density and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
