Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a score of 79, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's 74.9 overall score. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has 11 version and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S construction is newer and just a little lighter, but also somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher display density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a much better 48 MP resolution back facing camera, a larger aperture and a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a slightly better storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a 10 percent more battery size.
